With the purchase of the buildings in Erlangen and the Kroenert coating machine from REGU GmbH & Co. KG. on 1 March 2026, Museo is charting its course for future growth.
“This investment is an important first milestone in the story of Museo Papers. Our new structure and a relentless focus on ‘OE – Operational Excellence’ will help to maximize the acceleration of cost optimization and portfolio expansion” says Brian Crotty, Global Director of Museo.
The Folex site in Erlangen (formerly Regulus) has to date focused primarily on film coating, with more than 100 years of expertise in the manufacture of specialized industrial products. Museo GmbH is taking over the technical infrastructure and property in order to qualify the current Museo products and expand production in the coming years. The expansion of the Museo portfolio for fine art, production and printing papers will be carried out with in-house research and development and the potential for a move to a new, consolidated production location.
The focus on “OE – Operational Excellence” within the new Museo GmbH structure will help to maximize the acceleration of cost optimization and portfolio expansion.
